The auger of the Omega 8006 Juicer turns at a low 80 RPMs to ensure the maximum amount of enzymes, vitamins and minerals, are captured during the making of your juice. This low speed also helps the Omega 8006 Juicer foam less than a double gear style juicer making clean up a whole lot easier. This heavy-duty Omega juicer features a patented, stone mill-like screw, made of hygienic U.S. FDA-approved melamine, which prevents poisonous heavy metals from mixing with your fresh juices.
The Omega 8006 Juicer includes an additional years of warranty (15 years versus 10 on the Omega 8005 Juicer), a new GE Ultem Auger material that is 8 times harder than the 8005 material, a built in handle, and less 5 parts to clean.

This juicer is spectacular! Really beautiful... Oh and it makes juice too! Amazing juice!! Thank you to Ken who has been so helpful during this whole process from answering questions regarding the 220v and converter plug for Australia to the conerns I had with delivery (not the company's fault, post office). Still in contact with him with warranty details (came with 10 year warranty instead of 15 years), which I'm sure will be sorted out promply! I've been enjoying fresh carrot beetroot and ginger the last couple days and I'm going to attempt pasta tomorrow and a marinade- this really can do everything!! Thank you so much for this wonderful website and a great product, I will charish it for years to come.

Exceeds my high expectations!

I felt guilty buying this juicer. $300 and I already owned an old Juiceman which was in fine working condition. Was I wasting money? But I never used the Juiceman because it was too time-consuming to clean. And when I read how much healthier, juicier, and easier this Omega is, I had to try it. Now that I've used it for a week, I think it wouldn't have been a waste at twice the cost. I just made delicious pineapple juice from the husky exterior because I didn't want to waste the juice on the flesh that got cut off with the husk! I also use this versatile machine to crush the cardamom and cloves for my homemade chai, and turn the fresh ginger into a ginger juice that makes my chai intense. All so easy that I feel guilty. It's stylish, sits ready to go on the counter at all times, and does everything I dream up with ease. Next I'm going to make almond butter from some fresh almonds. I can't wait to see the results.

I just wanted to add to the wonderful comments here. I finally recieved my juicer 8006 two weeks ago. Out of stock because of demand, but I have to say it was worth the wait. It is the best juicer I have ever used. Much better than centrifuge due to being able to juice the greens. And it is so quiet that I can use in the morning without waking up the husband!

We received the Omega 8005 juicer yesterday. The juicer is gorgeous. This is the nicest kitchen appliance I have ever seen. We haven't used it yet, still reveling over the machine and looking over the manual.
